About
JS Film Productions is a collective of filmmakers, with Julia Speropoulos being the core of the company. The company focuses on documentaries, animation and fiction films.
Made by the collective, these films focus on timeless social and political issues, human rights, biographies, current affairs. They have won more than four awards, and have been selected by festivals in countries across the globe.
Execution of pre-production, production, and post production, all situated near the center of Athens Greece, gives the company artistic and industrial freedom.
JEAN, duration 20', the company's first documentary, (acquired by ERT national channel, Greece), won three awards, was officially selected at 7 film festivals around the globe.
The second documentary, YUBI, duration 40'/50' acquired the 3rd Prize documentary award at the 5th International documentary Festival of Ierapetra, was officially selected at four documentary festivals across Greece, as well as being acquired by the National Channel ERT, Greece.
The company is currently working on new projects, but documentary and fiction.
