Julia D. Speropoulos

Being a versatile artist, in addition to her accomplishments as a performer, Julia is a director and documentarian, making her directorial debut with the short, award-winning documentary “Jean.” 

"Jean" has won three awards and has travelled to 7 festivals, 4 countries around the world. It was also acquired by the Greek national channel ERT. In 2018, she completed the award-winning, mid-length documentary “Yubi,” and the experimental short film “Aphasia.” "Yubi" has won a documentary award, and has been officially selected by four documentary festivals across different cities of Greece. It has also been acquired by the Greek national channel ERT. Award winning "2 Miles From Home" is her first feature film, and has traveled to several festivals in the USA, Switzerland, and Greece. Rights have been acquired for Greece and Cyprus by COSMOTE TV HISTORY channel for a third year in a row.
  
She graduated with a theater arts degree in acting from Florida International University (Bachelor of Arts in Theatre). She also studied at New York Film Academy, NY, where she learned filmmaking and acting for film.
